This is a wonderful text I found on the net and describes very well what I believe to be  karmic relationships ..

It´s a little long, but it´s worth it !!
thanxs to the author !!

A powerful love relationship (whether espressed positively or negatively) probably has karmic undercurrents to it. We can look at this from the viewpoint that these two people have interacted in a past life. Or, we can take the perspective that we attract certain types of people in order to work out old issues of ours. Either viewpoint is feasible and can be dealt with. After all, "karma" simply means "consequences".
The idea of karma in a relationship is sort of spooky, no matter how it is manifesting. There are feelings of deja vu and an underlying knowledge of what makes the other person tick. This can be a positive expression, deepening the emotions and making one far more conscious of their actions and behavior than they might be ordinarily. It may be a negative expression, wherein two people act out an old behavior pattern from the past as if it were a film loop, running over and over the same material.

Many people will make their decisions about a relationship based upon the karma it carries. This can cause some to avoid any connection, because of an understanding that this relationship will be "high maintenance", meaning that a lot of discussion is required, lots of working out of misunderstandings, choices, etc. This appears to be part of the consequence of running a more "conscious" relationship.

Nasty karmic situations are often marked by violence or tragedy. Some long-term abuse situations appear to be old habit patterns in action, a "We've always done this," sort of condition.

Breaking out of a karmic pattern can be constructive whether the love relationship is having trouble or not. A lovely bit of synchronicity in this is that whenever we make the choice to work out relationship karma, we are demonstrating our readiness to be free of it. Here are some examples of how this can work:

Our own repetitive behavior:

If we find ourself attracting the same sort of "wrong" partner each time, we can explore how our needs for this are now fulfilled. For example, women often complain they have come across "another emotionally unavailable man," who comes close only to distance himself later down the road.

Compulsions with a partner:

When we are in a punishment or debt-oriented cycle with a specific partner, we can choose to work together as equals to end the old competitive pattern. We can set aside our need to be right, or controlling and find ways to support one another.

Same old thing, tra la:

If we have found a favorite pastlife partner with whom we just like to spend time with, we can move our attention to creating new goals to accomplish together. This is a fantastic way to build positive karma that you can reap from life and life.

Making a karmic situation more conscious is always very rewarding. I liken it to getting the steering wheel back after the car has been running out of control. Our spiritual debts, mental patterns and personality quirks are things that we can move through and consequently transform. This is our evolutionary destiny and we can influence it.

So don't fear that all karmic love relationships have to be challenging and difficult. As we choose to be more conscious we can transform negative patterns by choosing more conscious and loving behaviors.

There are some who say that all love relationships are karmic in nature and this may have validity from the perspective that we are all one and come from the same source. For our purposes though, I'm discussing this in terms of subconscious habit patterns that bring us into contact with the same individual lifetime after lifetime, or a pattern which causes us to attract certain consequences on a repetitive basis.
In this column we'll look at what happens when we keep meeting the same person. "Coincidences" run rampant and there may be a frequent sense of deja vu. We may find ourselves in situations or conversations where we feel that we've been handed a script and we know just what our lines are. This can be disturbing, since it's definitely out of the ordinary, and we may wonder what it means. I expect that quite a few people run from a particular relationship just because they sense the repercussions ahead.

We can safely assume that we continue to be drawn to the same person in order to share learning and assist in each other's evolutionary process. The trick here seems to be that we must manage to avoid acting out the same experiences and instead, develop new approaches and solutions to life. It can seem so much easier though, to follow in time-worn habits of behavior, some of which may seem "right" simply because we've done them so often. These can include being the punching bag for the partner who has never been motivated to find a different expression for his/her anger, or being the "bad guy" for the martyr who has developed no other focus for self-esteem. Our job in the relationship is to provide an evolutionary impetus for each other to find the new solutions and not play out roles which are damaging to ourselves and our partners.

A more positive view of this situation occurs when both partners have the intention to grow as individuals. In this case, our partner can provide an objective perspective of a behavior or recurring difficulty, allowing us to look beyond our typical solutions. On occasion this objective perspective can manifest as a very loud yell in our ear, breaking through a comfort zone and demanding that we wake up. Regardless of the means, it is difficult to remain oblivious to the consequences of our behavior while in a karmic relationship.

Sometimes we will come together with someone in order to balance old debts. This is very common and can sometimes be misleading. That occurs when we believe that this is a lifetime relationship but it is actually intended to last only long enough to even an old score. I suspect that this is what happens sometimes in marriages when one partner supports another through an educational phase and then the educated partner leaves. Perhaps this was a pay-back of support given in the other direction in the past. When we look at such a situation only in terms of current conditions though, it can be very upsetting.

In the next love and relationship article based on metaphysics, we'll look at how to make more conscious use of the evolutionary possibilities inherent in a karmic relationship.

In this relationship article we'll be looking at ways to make more conscious use of the evolutionary possibilities in a karmic relationship. Many of the suggestions for a successful relationship with karmic ties are identical to those you'll find recommended for soulmates. In my opinion, all soulmate connections are karmic, but not all karmic relationships involve soulmates. Some may consider this a good thing, due to the fact that a soul mate relationship requires a large committment to our spiritual growth...and not necessarily the easy way.
Part two of this series describes some of the clues for understanding whether you're involved in such a love relationship. When it has become obvious that we're involved in a karmic relationship of some kind, there are certain things we can do to move it in the best direction. We can be in a karmic relationship with anyone, a lover, the postman, dear old mom, anyone. Rather than feel that we are a victim of this phenomenon, we can assume a perspective which is more positive, healthy and life-affirming.

In metaphysics, this means that we have to be willing to have faith in certain principles. In this situation, one could have faith in the idea that this relationship isn't in your life to punish you, but instead, as a reward. You have been given the opportunity to advance your personal evolution through the dynamic of this relationship. View your situation as this: the person you are relating to is an angelic messenger for you, a special tutor in the game of human existence. With this perspective, you will tap into the God-Self of that person. This is an amazing experience.

Learning to do this is relatively easy, if you have the nerve to follow through with it. At issue of course, is the risk of opening up. One of the nice things about a karmic relationship is that there's a degree of familiarity already, so opening one's heart and soul can be somewhat easier. An open heart and soul are necessary to personal evolution. The idea is that this is a type of personal growth that will last you for more than one existence. Long term gains.

Communication is usually the key to making the relationship perform a positive function. This of course is a tool for opening up. To bring out the positive function of a karmic relationship, it is necessary that we confront the fact that this is what is happening and talk to the other person about it. This means that we have to discuss the condition of our soul with our friend and hopefully, they will return the favor. Right away this eliminates many of the karmic implications of the relationship, since getting through the secrets and illusions has mostly been accomplished.

What we must understand is that in a karmic relationship we are dealing with raw, vulnerable, soul stuff. The masks of ego are simply a distraction and can be rather ruthlessly violated if we do not open up willingly. This is where the unpleasant aspects of a karmic relationship can come in. Sometimes very little can happen in the relationship except for beating away at egoic structures, because neither party is willing to release them and learn their real lessons from each other.

The lessons that we have to learn from each other can be as varied as life itself. One may be certain however, that the lesson is deep, personal and one that, left to our own devices, we would probably avoid. This may be why such spiritual devices are part of our lives, to provide an external force to motivate the learning experience. Our "karmic buddy" is in our lives to assist in our learning, and we supply the same service to them.

Karmic relationships are valuable gifts that can help us on our spiritual journey. This can only occur however, if we're willing to let go of the petty ego structures that we find useful as one-lifetime-only propositions. When we can take our entire spiritual existence into account and act from that perspective, major learning experiences can take place.

The importance of Surrender

Surrender Quotes express the trust or sense of "letting go" necessary to enable the energy expended or the seeds you have planted to sprout and grow as intended.
Surrender as often perceived, can often prove to be difficult for many because it can often be equated in a negative form such as loss or defeat.

As you'll soon discover based on the surrender quotes provided below surrender is a necessary aspect of "allowing" the inevitable to happen without struggle and unfold in perfect harmony just as intended. To show the importance of eliminating the fear and anxiety of how, when and if your desires will unfold.

True surrender comes about and is made possible as a result of discovering who and what you truly are, how the perfect process of creation was designed to unfold and becoming consciously aware and learning to fully trust in what I choose to refer to as "The Perfect Plan" which is the immutable, unwavering, and precise Universal Laws put into place by Source, whatever name you might choose to refer to Source as, which makes ALL creation possible and keeps creating with unwavering certainty and absolute perfection based on unconditional Love.

SURRENDER QUOTES

When we know love matters more than anything, and we know that nothing else REALLY matters, we move into the state of surrender. Surrender does not diminish our power, it enhances it. -Sara Paddison

"Surrender is faith that the power of Love can accomplish anything even when you cannot forsee the outcome." - Deepak Chopra

"The creative process is a process of surrender, not control.” - Julia Cameron

The right shot, at the right moment, does not come because you do not let go of yourself. You are not waiting for fulfillment, but bracing yourself for failure. So long as this is so, you have no choice but to call forth something from yourself that ought to happen independently of you. - DT Suzuki

“Once we surrender our mind to GOD completely, HE will take care of us in every way.” - Sri Sathya Sai Baba

“You're in the midst of a war: a battle between the limits of a crowd seeking the surrender of your dreams, and the power of your true vision to create and contribute. It is a fight between those who will tell you what you cannot do, and that part of you that knows / and has always known / that we are more than our environment; and that a dream, backed by an unrelenting will to attain it, is truly a reality with an imminent arrival.” - Anthony Robbins

“Give up all bad qualities in you, banish the ego and develop the spirit of surrender. You will then experience Bliss.” - Sri Sathya Sai Baba

“At fifteen life had taught me undeniably that surrender, in its place, was as honorable as resistance, especially if one had no choice.” - Maya Angelou

“We can only learn to know ourselves and do what we can / namely, surrender our will and fulfill God's will in us.” - St. Teresa of Avila

Consider your own life-how many times a day does some situation pop up that leads to moments of frustration and anxiety? Surrendering your head to your heart in those moments will lead you to balance and fulfillment. As you listen to your spirit, peace follows. So follow your spirit. Build your foundation in your heart. Love must be your innermost and spontaneous response towards every person you encounter. Say to yourself inside, "I just love." Use these words as a key to start the engine running in your heart and watch life brighten with new love and understanding. Surrender to your new awareness and let love unfold the purpose of creation to you. -Sara Paddison.

“If you surrender completely to the moments as they pass, you live more richly those moments.” - Anne Morrow Lindbergh

“Better indeed is knowledge than mechanical practice. Better than knowledge is meditation. But better still is surrender of attachment to results, because there follows immediate peace.” - Bhagavad Gita

“Love conquers all things; let us too surrender to Love” - Virgil

I will surrender. The power is too great to comprehend, for love always triumphs! So it is to you I surrender...and its truth shall be forever. - Rasa

When you have compassion and surrender to your own heart, you are surrendering to the hidden power in your heart, God. You are surrendering to love, because God is Love, the cohesive force of the universe that connects us all. Surrender is not just a religious concept; it's a power tool for listening to the voice of your spirit and following its directions. When you surrender your head to your heart, you allow your heart to give you a wider, higher intelligence perspective. Remember the phrase, "The real teacher is within you." Very simply, that teacher is to be found in the common sense of your own heart. -Sara Paddison.

The greatness of a mans power is the measure of his surrender - William Booth

The word "surrender" is often interpreted as giving up, as weakness, as admitting defeat. Although this is one way to use the word, we will use it in a different way. Surrendering means letting go of your resistance to the total openness of who you are. It means giving up the tension of the little vortex you believe yourself to be and realizing the deep power of the ocean you truly are. It means to open with no boundaries, emotional or physical, so you ease wide beyond any limiting sense of self you might have. - David Deida

“Self-interest is but the survival of the animal in us. Humanity only begins for man with self-surrender.” - Henri Frederic Amiel

Buddha Poem

You taught me to be here with my full attention,
To cherish each moment as precious:
More sacred than memory
Or the dreams that tomorrow may bring.

Today
Is the milk that sustains us
And in it is a beauty and wonder
That I used to search for,
Imagining it was far yonder.

Today
Is a flower in crescendo,
Vibrant with the full colour
Of all its yesterdays.

Here and now, I am the sum total of all my days.
You have taught me the mindfulness of being
And I honour this, with gratitude and stillness:
The song of you, present in the core of me.

Nice text by Tony Samara ..

"As you mention, we cannot DO anything to reach that which we call enlightenment. There are many people at this time who are deeply seeking in a conscious way the deeper aspects of the journey that we all have to undertake. A journey that is more conscious of our actions and purpose here in life.

We are all seekers even if we dont realise this and I believe that out of this seeking there are people that because of their practice and understanding of their journey are well suited to make it easier for others to understand the traps and distractions that often overwhelm us so as to forget our focus and remain attached to the practicalities of every day life.

One of the things that our culture clouds is that the within is often a reflection of the outside and so going within is just as much a distraction as going out and trying to obtain answers from a person outside or a place. My teaching is not inside or outside but rather being in this present moment. Being real to what is going on as your experience. Otherwise the journey becomes very crazy.

As we go within we find all sorts of aspects of ourselves that are helpful but in the end do not answer the depth of the questions that the heart needs to realise and sometimes even become a kind of preoccupation with oneself.

It is the same with reading books or moving to different places. Knowledge is not in those places or in the books but rather in your understanding. Listening to teachers, going to conferences, seminars or events is what many people do and it is interesting to do this but in the end unless you understand then it is information without meaning. This is where a true teacher whether the teacher uses many words or a few words is able to bring deeper clarity to this information so that the information touches your heart rather than the intellect or other parts of yourself. The heart is the gateway to what it means to be in this present moment. I am not speaking about an emotional aspect of yourself but rather the part that knows. The part that is the deeper essence of who you are.

I do believe that working with a teacher is an essential tool that is frowned upon in the west due to the individualism that we over-value.

We are all one and there is nothing that is separate from this oneness except the intellect that likes to create boxes for us to fit in so that we can understand the world and have some sort of dominion over it. The heart understands that true understanding comes from union rather than differences or dominion.

What we are meant to give up is not our essence but rather what prevents this essence from blossoming.

The source is within this knowledge.

I believe that what we seek can only be found once the heart opens to the mystical truth that is contained in opening our hearts to the deepest love that is our essence rather than what the mind projects as reality.

Love

Tony"

10 facts about Tibet

1. The invasion of Tibet began in 1949. Chinese occupation has resulted in the death of over one million Tibetans, the destruction of over 6,000 monasteries, nunneries and temples, and the imprisonment and torture of thousands of Tibetans.

2. The Dalai Lama, Tibet's political and spiritual leader, fled Tibet in 1959 to Dharamsala, India, followed by over 100,000 Tibetans and established the Tibetan Government-in Exile. In 1989, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for a steadfast dedication to non-violence, and the highest US civilian honor, the Congressional Gold Medal, in 2007.

3. Tibet, before occupation, was a nation with an established sovereign government, currency, postal system, language, legal system, and culture. Prior to 1950, the Tibetan government also signed treaties with foreign nations. The Chinese government claims that Tibet has always been part of China, yet its invasion of Tibet resembles imperialist aggression that China accuses other powers of exhibiting.

4. The "Tibetan Autonomous Region" (TAR) is not Tibet, nor is it autonomous. The Chinese government has divided historical Tibet into one region and several prefectures and counties, with the TAR encompassing only the central area and some eastern regions of Tibet.

5. The basic freedoms of speech, religion, and assembly are strictly limited, and arbitrary arrests continue. There are currently hundreds of political prisoners in Tibet, enduring a commonplace punishment of torture.

6. The Chinese government increasingly encourages Han Chinese to migrate to Tibet, offering them higher wages and other inducements. This policy is threatening the survival of Tibetan people. Tibetans are becoming a minority in the TAR. Yearly, thousands of Tibetans still flee from Tibet, making the treacherous journey over the Himalayas into a world of exile.

7. Historical Tibet was a vast country, with an area roughly equal to Western Europe. Tibet is the source of five of Asia's largest rivers, which provide water for two billion people. Tibet's fragile environment is endangered by Chinese strip-mining, nuclear waste dumping, and extensive deforestation.

8. The Chinese government claims to have “developed” Tibet, with “developments” mainly benefiting the new majority Chinese, not Tibetans. China, neglecting education and healthcare, has spent millions of dollars building infrastructure; many roads, buildings, and power plants directly support heavy militarization, allowing China to maintain Tibet as a police state.

9. The Chinese government aggressively seeks foreign investment for its “Go West” campaign, with use of these international funds to develop Tibet as a resource extraction colony and consolidate regional control. Foreign investments in Chinese companies legitimise China's colonisation and exploitative projects that harm Tibet.

10. The United Nations and international community have done very little to address the core issue of China’s illegal occupation of Tibet. China represents an enormous market and cheap labour force, and its associated businesses have such a strong lobby that officials are reluctant to take substantive measures. Since western countries adopted policies of so-called “constructive engagement” with China in the 1990s, the human rights situation in Tibet has only deteriorated. In November 2008, the UN agreed with Free Tibet's report on torture, clarifying that it believes that torture is 'widespread and routine' in Tibet.

Hugging

just a little something sweet that came on a mail ...

When you love a person, verbal expressions are not enough; words are not enough; something more substantial is needed; words are only abstract. You have to do something! Hold the hand, hug the person, kiss the person, and embrace the person. It is going to help you both: if you can melt in the hug, you will feel both become again younger, fresher, livelier. That's the whole process of healing.

A hug is like a hand in a glove. There is no tension and you are breathing together, and enjoying yourselves together. It's supposed to be pleasurable. Pleasure emits a sound. If you feel pleasure, you go: "Yummy, yummy, goodie, goodie, aahh". Pleasure sounds, that's what we want from you.

Lightwarriors

You are a symbol of light in the world. What is light you often ask? Light represents knowledge, compassion, creation, flow, freedom, personal power, joy, wonders, happiness. It is ultimately the emanation of the inner living soul Self within you, also the domain where channeled information comes readily- the light body, the energetic force that flows so quickly it shines. However, the light body is not so much as a physical \'body\' as you may try to visualize. It is more than you can imagine with your current understanding.

As Lightworkers/Lightwarriors/Wayshowers, you already have the qualities of light active within you. As a beacon of light in the world, the purpose that you chose is to utilize your own light to steer the \'sheeples\' away from dangers within the realms of darkness and ignorance, and show them the good way towards the way of the light within them.

You stand within your present materialistic reality, a social construct founded not from the soul, but from desires that come from a physical reality, far from a spiritual construct that can sustain your inner light body. Such a materialistic reality is constructed by empty brittle shells of disillusionment and empty promises ready to break and shatter into pieces. How can anyone find meaning, joy and happiness living in such a make-belief reality? It may keep the physical body rich and alive but causes the spirit body within to suffer from a spiritual famine.

An empty and meaningless life is superficial, constructed by desires that lack the sustenance to fuel the light of the spirit and has kept many in dis-illuminating starvation.

The vision of seeking fulfillment in a materialistic world still remains desperately in the minds of many. Yet, there is a choice between the two presented. Do you still wish to sustain the empty materialistic shells in your reality? Or, do you wish to find the sustenance to nourish the living light that is within you?

As Lightworkers/Lightwarriors/Wayshowers, you have the good ability to uncover the sustenance for people who wish to brighten their dim light, for you can readily show them the Way of how you light your own light. You can lead them from a superficial emptiness back to their rich life and light body within, which is like a candle only waiting to be found and lit.

There are those who wish to keep the truth dim and light body dead, for themselves and for others. Some may not realize what they are doing but ultimately such unknowing is the true nature of who they are. The strength of people\'s light and nature within are tested for their truthfulness when they encounter such dimmers of the truth.

There IS(Inner Self) much inner discovery to be done. Those who walk the path towards their undiscovered Selves with their new found light to show the way will find out who they truly are, since they are truly AM(All Mighty).

Timothy Tang
